    Version 2 is out and is what you should look at. It is similar to saying "Flash 3 - what, no action scripting" - it is there now.

    thanks man, i just cant believe they could leave out such a crucial model

    i mean
    they have Sphere, even torus!
    BUT NO CUBE
    its insanity!

    If you are using version 1 you can make a nice cube using a webding "g" or a wingding "n" and then making all dimensions the same. Several people made cubes by drawing a plane in a vector drawing program, importing, making 5 copies and arranging them appropriately. Since version 1 had minimal positioning tools this was a real labor of love (and pain in the rear). Version 2 has nice positioning tools so it is possible to either use their cube object or make one from 6 planes (thus giving you independent control of each face of the cube as in http://www.wellesley.edu/Chemistry/F...romplanes2.swf ).

    I just used to use the Arial period. set the bevel to square and be done with it...

    although... Swift3D 2.0 definitely has the cube from the start...

    it's so worth upgrading

    How much does an upgrade cost?

    And do these font things make actual "cubes" so that they have all six sides when rotated?

    yep, it's a full, solid cube you can animate, whatnot.

    the upgrade costs like $79 right now... GO GET IT!
