I could not manage to do something pretty easy in Flash: have my move run to a certain point, stop it and play further after a Mouse Event on a button. How should I proceed?

    Thank in advance

Make sure you are in ADVANCED interface.
Add a key frame at the point you want to pause and add the action StopMovie.

Make a button and set the action for mouseUP to Playmovie.

    Re: Help

Well it took some time to find out that I had to open a new timeline, what's the difference between timeline, movie and animation, isn't it all in the same movie? Can't I switch between views?
I think it would be nice to have some help index.
