    Hi there... can anyone help?

Using Flash 5, my project consists of 2 movies:
The 1st movie has 5 scenes and the 2nd movie has 1 scene.

From within the second movie, I need to create a link back to the 1st movie
    to SCENE 3, FRAME 20.

Does anyone know how to do this???

    Thanks

on the button symbol you want to use to link, assign an action of GOTO and then specify the scene and frame number you want it to jump to (in the dialog box that appears)

    Hope this helps

    hey,

there is a bug, however, in flash.... i have found that if you use a button in a movie clip you cannot go back to the main timeline no matter if the proper labeling is done and you reference the proper scene! even if you choose gotoAndPlay "previous scene," it goes back to the first frmae of the scene that you are in rather then the _root timeline EVEN if you refer to it as _root... (or to its label for that matter)

i'm sure you guys know more about this then i so if there is an easier solution.... add me to the list of people who want to know!
