Thread: How to detect flash 5 plug-in?

    Hi Folks,

    Does anybody know how to detect if flash 5 player is installed on the visitor's machine?

    Nowadays you never have to detect the Flash 5 plug-in because according to Macromedia, 99% PC users have it installed in their PC. So it will only increase the file size of your HTML page where the .swf file will be embedded. So I recommend that you only put a link to Macromedia Flash Plug-in page and that's all. Goodluck.
