Thread: image is distorted in swf

    I imported a gif image for use in my flash movie. Once the flash file is published into a swf though, the image looks slightly distorted. (Even when I publish the file at 100% jpg quality.)

    To see what I mean go to this url, and look at the bottom right for the "contact us" swf:

    Can someone help me with this?

    Not sure what would be causing this.... try importing the graphic as transparent .png or trace it to vector from a hi-res file? Might work...

    Visit Macromedai site

    I had the same prob, so I went to Macro's site and they had a list of things to try. Eventually, one of them worked.

    Here http://macromedia.com/support/flash/...maps_shift.htm I eventually found that the "break" and importing a smaller-quality file, worked.
