Storing Variables

Hey guys, this is my first time using this forum. I just got flash 5 and i am pretty good at using Flash 4

I would like to know if you can save variables to a text file and then load them up later. I know flash 4 could do this but it could only be done locally and not on the internet. If this can be done, please tell me

You will need a backend script. Something with PHP or a CGI script. Look in the backend section of this board.
