21st sounds good to me too. Also adding description sounds good, could help people learn new techniques...

maybe we could all post thumbnails on the thread, kinda the size you posted megatoon, and people could email me the larger image... and description if they like... i'll put up on my server and make before/after page for those who want to see larger pic and for voting later. i could have something ready by this saturday.

    what do y'all think?

    21st? bet.

I do have one questions... do you want us to post our *.psd file as well? I'm working on something, and I promise you it's all photoshop...

but I know how some people are.

    just wondering.

force10x, it's nice though! got some atmosphere going on...

besides, there is no end to practice

i am going to toss up a quick webpage so we have someplace to post pictures... if we post links from now on i can grab pics and put them on so people can view all images, before/after style...

    will have it up soon

hmm, well on this point i think it could be good... though i gotta say with the way i work my photoshop file will go through many changes and it's hard to see what actually happened by the time i am finished. with this in mind i could save separate files along the way if people are interested in seeing the process here. but as far as people having doubts to the integrity of an image, whether or not it followed the rules, well i agree it would be good if we could explain exactly what we did and back it up with files upon request, should people question this.

i know what ya mean about how some people are.

but this should be a fun thing, and all for practice/exploration/learning/just want something to do/keepin busy sake and hopefully it won't get too crazy up in here.

we got some good stuff going on can't wait to see more!

A site is a great idea Chelle. If it's not to much trouble I would like to see some pics at different stages. I don't really think anyone will cheat. That kinda makes it pointless.

Everything looks great so far. I'm really getting some idea whht PS can do. So many different concepts. Let's keep going. I've got my next version coming soon.

That little transformer thing on my first image was just asking for some electricity effects. This is my first attempt at electricity so it's a little ghetto. Ya...and I figured the electricity should be doing something...so I put in a tv with the original image.

    Thanks..

All I did is use the pencil tool for the actuall electric bolt. Then I gave them an outter glow using gradients...no filters or plugins or anything. I also went around with the blur tool to make certain spots a little brighter glow.

It's the only way I could think to do it.

Hehe....gettin a little lazy there ehh marcus?

This is getting really sweet! Awsome stuff calpomatt. Maybe some tips for those of not quite there yet?

Marcus brings up a good point. I think we all try Photoshop Tennis after this! Someone starts then we all something to the same oic. Then see what we get.
