Thread: Sound Effect on button

  1. #1

    Cool

I want to have a sound effect play when I release a dragged movie clip(button). I have the sound file in the library, I'm just not sure of the scripting. I thought it was:

    Begin Tell Target ("/match")
    Play
    End Tell Target

However, this isn't working. Maybe it has something to do with the name of the movie. Any help would be appreciated.

    Cool

Is the movie clip with the sound in it on the main stage. If it is and the button is in a movie clip then the /match is right if its in another movie clip other than the one the button is in it would be /chicken/match and if its in the same drag movie that the button is in it would just be match. Hope that helps, Bill
