Importing Multiple into Flash 4

I have created multiple SWFs and have tried to load them into a Flash movie using either import and/or the load movie action. The first movie that I load always shows properly. When I load/import the second, the text does not appear. In the case of the nova fade (and others with animation in addition to text), I can see the animation of the nova but not the associated text. Any suggestions?

You have to let me know more about how you're loading these movies, before I can help you. I'm sure it's a something simple. It might have to do with alignment, or failing to unload the previous movie first.

Thanks for the response. This happened while I was on the road a couple of weeks ago. I just went back to look at the file. Now I can't even import a swf without losing the text. Here is what I am doing. I create a swf with swfx. I import the swf into Flash. I create a new symbol by copying all the frames into a new MC. Put the MC on stage. Export the MC. All I get is the nova fade with no text. I have made sure the text and backgrounds are different. The only items in the library are the novafade white circle and the MC I created.

Am I missing something? Is there a help file somewhere I can read?

RF:

Before I spend any time debugging this, can you please make sure you are using v1.02, instead of 1 or 1.01? (command -> swfx -> about)

There was a Load Movie issue repaired in 1.02.

If it turns out you are using 1.02, let me know and i'll see what I can do.
