    Question

Can you only import .wav files into flash? I was wanting to put a 45 second long .wav file in my movie so it would play while the movie is playing...but when i made the .wav..it turned out to be about 18MB for the .wav! How could i also cut a clip out of an .mp3 file?

    Exclamation

That .wav is 18 megs you say?
I would convert it from 44.1Khz to 22Khz
    8 bit
that will cut down on file size
but you will loose sound quality.
If you want to cut out a section of the wav or mp3 you need some sound editing software.
Like CakeWalk Home Studio or Gold wave.

    I converted a 16bit 44.1Khz .wav (573Kb)
to 22Khz 8 bit and the size was (143Kb)

So you might want to consider re-recording it and converting it to 22Khz 8 bit.

    later....
