txt-string into pixel length

Well, as the topic says.

Anyone knows a way to convert a txt string to a excact pixel length?
I have made some here and is pretty accurate. (but it has limitations)

not gonna post the FLA yet cause i know a way to make it lot better and with alot less coding lines... (else i'm gonna feel stupid if you saw this code )

if anyone already has something like this, pratially or fully completed and very accurate.. plz contact me so we could some research toghetter?
