Thread: sound in flash lesson?

    hi everone
    i have a little question about sounds
    i wanna use a sound that is being used in the sounds lessons in the help of flash 5, the sound is "Cricket"
    can i import the wav file? if not, can i used it in another flash file , note, it doesn't exist in the commot libraries, so, if i can, plz, tell me how

    no one can help?

    okey at least can anyone lead me to a 'cricket' wav sound file that's similar to the one that is in the lessons of flash 5 help?

    You can open that lesson movie as library and then drag and drop the sound into your new movie.

    Or if you don't know where the lesson movie is. go to help>lessons open that lesson and open the library. At the same time open your movie which requires the cricket sound
    then simply drag the cricket sound from the lesson movie's library into a layer in your new movie.

    thanks for the help,
    but, really i didn't understand u
    i couldn't drag it to my movie cause my movie is in a different flash file, ,,,
    any help?

    Open your movie.

    Add a new ( sound layer ) if you do not already have one.

    Go to file menu ( top left ) choose Open as Library,
    then navigate to C: ( I assume you're on PC and C: is your main drive )
    Program Files > Macromedia > Flash5 > Lessons >07Sound

    Open it and you can the click on the cricket sound name and drag it into your movie.
