this is probably a really easy one, but i can't seem to quite get it right.

i have an html page with three frames, one on the top, one on the left and another on the right. the top frame is the main navigation (the frame is named nav), it contains a swf file and controls the lower frames. the left frame(named eventsnav) is the secondary navigation and is also flash, while the right frame(eventsmain) contains html and asp pages.

i just can't seem to specify which frame i want to change with the flash files without the whole page changing. i want the left frame to be able to call up an html file and place it in the right frame without refreshing or losing what is in the left or top frames. i also would like the top frame to change the content of both the left and right frames at once without the top frame refreshing at all.

and will this work in all browsers?

MODERATOR: Please sort this out - we're getting more and more flash questions again...

Or should I start mentioning Rootshell?
