Learning actionscripting

Hi i want to learn advanced level of action scripting in flash 4 but don't know where to start, Please send me the name of books which have tatorials on scripting only

or please advice me where to start
or which programming language i should learn.

I must admit, I'm probably not the most experienced person in the world to be dishing out advice. But as far as books go, I'd give a tentative reccomendation to Flash Magic. I say tentative for two reasons:

A) It's Flash 4. Flash 5 books will be out very shortly most likely with tons of Actionscripting books.

B) They have a bad habit of showing you the source code to some really incredible applications and then not explaining to you how they are doing stuff.

If you want an "advanced actionscripting" book, that'd be it though.

I might recomend trying a few of the tutorials here at Flashkit or vistiting Joen's site at Turtleshell.com (His Flash guide) You could also stop by Moock.org He's really good at the advanced actionscripting hoop-la.
