    hi
i was supposed to create a move clip & then build up layers, actions ,etc. so that i can drag it from the library & drop it. but i forgot to do that i mean i just create it immediately in the first scene.
my Q is how do i convert that scene into a move clip.
    any help is appreciated

    Hmm.

Not real sure if you can. Only thing I see that looks viable, is to export the scene as an SWF file. Then, in Flash, create a New MovieClip, and then choose to import the SWF file into that movie clip. Other than that I do not know. But then again, I do not have any experience in this type of problem, Dont take what I say as the gospel, just as a last ditch effort

    hi star79

you could try selscting all of the frames, then from the edit menu select 'copy frames'

then go insert symbol and name it, select movie clip and when the stage and timeline appear, add the same number of layers as you have in the original 'copied' frames

select frame one in the top layer and from the edit menu again select 'paste frames'

this should replicate the original fla in the mc for you

go back to the main stage and drag an instance of the mc to the stage

    peace and love
