    Hi:

Does anyone have the Flash (swf format) Plugin (Flash.dll) for IrfanView. All of the plugin download links on the Irfan site have been returning "The page cannot be found" errors for two days now, and when I emailed them, I got a mailer-daemon error, "The following addresses had transient non-fatal errors."

I am a registered user of IrfanView, and if anyone has the plugin, I would appreciate it, if you could post a link to it for download, or email it to me.

    Thanks,

    James

    Hey, Mike...I'm kidding...John...kidding again...Fred...still kidding...Tom...done kidding...thanks a lot!!!

Unfortunately, it turned out to be a dud. Not the download, but I thought I might be able to save to gif/jpg, etc. Not happening, it just launches the Flash Player (v3., I might add), with no save options. That's 400k I don't need on my HD.

Oh, well, thanks anyway. I really appreciate your effort.

    Oh well...

I never use Iview for .swf files anyways...I only downloaded the complete plugin pkg for it a while back. It's a great little free pic viewer prog though, I use it all the time.

FYI, I removed the file from my server now, so I edited and removed the link from my above post.

I think about the only way you could convert to a static .jpg/.gif, would be to use a screen capture program...Snagit is a great one.

If the .swf has motion, and your wanting to convert to a ani-gif, I'm not sure what programs would do that (other than Flash).

    Tom:

Well, I didn't say exactly what I meant...not unusual for me. What I actually wanted to do was import vectors, and export to .emf.

Oh, well, I'll keep looking. Thanks, again.

    Hi Frets:

thought of using something like zone draw?

    Funny you should ask:

"Too bad you can't export the images as ai or eps files - I find the tools easier to use than something like Zoner Draw (which is also quite easy)."

The above is Flick's comment in the thread I started about vectors. Anyway, I was looking for an alternative. I already have Zoner, Flash 5, etc.

Thanks, anyway. Always grateful for new ideas.
