Hello everyone. I really hope someone can help with this as I don't see any posts on it yet.
I have bought this great program - yet - after making my very first custom effect - I noticed that certain letters will not show up in Any of the highlighted effects.
Mostly - the letters M, A, and I think T etc. are just absent from the effect. This happens in the preview and in the export.
I don't know if I did something wrong? I took my custom effect out right away but it didn't help. I upgraded to 1.02 and that didn't help.
Anybody ever have similar experience or know what that is?
Thanks VERY much in advance as I've not been able to really enjoy this yet!

This shouldn't be happening. We haven't had anything like this reported. So, if you could help me by answering a few questions:
What OS are you on?
What version of Flash are you using (exact release, if you can, please; the current one is 5,0,30,0)?
Most importantly, what fonts are you using?
If you have sample .swfs, please email them to support@wildswfx.com and I'll see what I can think of.
thanks!

Thanks for your reply.
I'm running win 98 SE, P333 Sony Vaio, 64mb, 6.4HD.
I have Flash 4 installed, as well as Flash 5 trial (downloaded yesterday - it doesn't give an exact version.)
I'm using both Truetype and Postcript fonts - however there doesn't seem to be a difference in regard to this problem.
Like I said - the only difference seems to be with the Flash4 effects. The un-hilighted effects run fine. Odd, eh?
I'm also running Typograf 4.02 to manage my fonts - however even shutting this off doesn't make a difference. For the PS fonts I'm using ATM 4.0.
Let me know if you need more info.
Thanks!

I think it's fixed now!
Okay - here's what I did. I think it could be one of two things.
When I reinstalled the first time - I uninstalled 1.01 but left my FX there. I also noticed some .tmp files.
I decided to reinstal again - but from scratch. I uninstalled the program - deleted my fx swf and all .tmp files and even the folders that held them.
Another thing I did was uninstall Flash 5 beta -
Could that have been the problem?
Anyway - it's all up and working now very well. I reinstalled the Plus pack and my custom effects and they all work splendidly.
Thank you very much for your help - it all seems good now.
I also must thank you for the program. It's great - I've been using it since it was black with no english. ;-)
Keep up the great work!

Glad to hear you got your problem solved. Must not have been a clean install, I don't think you need to uninstall SWfX 1.0 before installing 1.02, but we'll check that out.
And, of course, thanks for the nice words about SWfX.
