    stroke...

erm, sorry 4 not making myself clear...
i meant 'stroke' as in outline...
the thing that's 'outside the fill'
    hope this is more clear....
(hope my question is not too daft either

oh, I could complain for hours about the app....
I am really confident with adobe/deneba/corel products... but not really macromedia.. the only product of theirs i really like is dreamweaver - but apart from that... the thing is that those guys just HAVE to do things differently to what the 'standard' is..
in the beginning i didnt find the interface very intuitive. But I'm past that stage now
let me think... erm... what about property boxes: parameters dont apply on 'return' but when you click outside the box!
but anyway - i'm trying to get to gripps with it 'coz of what it can do... the results can be really nice!!!

...and about no outline option - maybe its deliberate - 'coz if you apply some really heavy/customized outline to a chunk of text & then animate it... the calculations for that would be quite big in file size, eh? slows thing down!
I just cant wait till the new version is out - but when is due? on macromedia website there is no information - flash 5 is now what? 1.5-2 years old? time to fix those interface 'bugs'...
