you will need a cd ripper program such as Audiograbber to extract the songs from the cd and convert them to wav. then you can import the wavs into flash.

I found a program that removed and changed it to a wave file. Now the second problem, I want to do a flash movie to the entire song. Can this be done without it being a memory hog and taking forever to load... it's 47 meg in a wave format.

    Thanks for the help

    11MB is still really big
but if you set the movie Publish Settings
    to mp3 64kbps and fast
and set the music to streaming
    that will do the trick.

    on the web.

You could change the sample rate to 11khz
but it will loose a lot of high frequency
    range.

    So 22khz 16bit mono
    Streaming MP3 64kbps fast
