Making a button fade out?

How do you make a button fade out when a person clicks on it?

You should be able to do a fade out on the Graphic Symbol you want as the button. Then put the GS into the Hit State of the button. When the button is hit the Fade Out GS will play

Could you maybe explain that a little better? I didn't quite understand what you mean. Thanks for replying.

you can make a movie of the button fading and on another label put a transparent button and in the actions use the tell target action to tell your movie of the button to play.
