Almost every thread in this forum contains some files for downloading. While you can look at the swf files to see what people can do (and some of the people here do really nice work) what you need to look at in detail are the swi files - the ones that Swish will load and let you study, so you can see how things are done.
I would start with the examples in Swish, then, in addition to this forum (if you want a particular effect try using the search function as there are hundreds of effects that have been discussed, some ad naseum) I would suggest going to
