I went to the WildSWFX website and I am confused. Is it just a generator that you use online? How can I try it out on my own computer? What are all the downloadable extensions for - do I need SWFX to use them? I know, I know, I am confused...

dave:
SWfX is a Windows-based application with a complete Flash GUI. We have created an online version of the engine (minus several key features, of course) so that people may test all the effects prior to purchasing SWfX.
We have also posted instructions on how to create your own effects, so you can read those over before purchasing SWfX, also.
Stay cool,

Sorry, I didn't answer all your questions the first time.
There is no downloadable trial. You can preview all the effects online, and you can download the help file and screenshots at http://www.wildswfx.com/pr
The downloadable extensions are WildFX text effects. Just throw those in your "effects" directory. You do need SWfX to use them. However, you can download the source .FLAs for the effects, for use with Flash, if you just like the animation.
And, of course, if you want to buy SWfX, just click "purchase" on the upper right corner of http://www.wildswfx.com
Thanks!
