Whenever i try to make a the gradient looks horizontal I can't!
I just don't know how to do it..it is by default set to vertical..how could i change it to horizontal?
Any help is highly appreciated it!

yes Flash does this by default

what i suggest you do is draw a rough square/circle or whatever, then fill it with your gradient and rotate it 90 degrees so you get the horizontal gradient, then modify the shape to the size and dimensions you wanrt it

Or you could use the Transform fill button and rotate the gradient

another way you can do this quickly is once you have your shape filled with the gradient, the fill box to your left is filled with the gradient. change to paintbucket tool and drag across your shape in the direction you want the gradient to go. you'll see a line starting from your drag point. drag in the direction you want and release. viola.
