Moved to West Ken from Bristol way about a year ago currently work in Hampton Court.

Work in London, live in *sigh* Slough. Moving somewhere less awful soon, though.

Lived in London for a few years -- several places, including Mile End, Hackney, King's Cross...all the really nice areas!

The Land of the Concrete Cow!

Sadly, Slough is pretty much as grim as it's reputation suggests -- some areas are ok, but a large proportion of it is made up of really nasty post-war industrial estates. The only compensation (apart from the low house prices) is that you don't have go far to get somehwere nicer -- Windsor, Eton, Burnham etc.

Yeah, Fulham maybe a totally Aussie area - it's overspill from Earls Court, but it's full of Australian secretaries and complete bankers, not my kind of Aussie. In fact, they're the sort I came over here to get away from. I'm in Fulham 'cause I'm staying for gratis at my girlfriend's place for the next couple of weeks before going to Sweden. Then LA. Then home to Melbourne. Christmas in Summertime. Oh yeah...
