default text in dynamic field

Hi

Please could someone tell me if it is possible to put some default text in a dynamic text field? and how to do so..thank you very much

As I remember it, if you type the default text you want into the dynamic text box after you have drawn it, that text stays there until it is re-assigned from elsewhere (external text file?) when the movie runs.

Alternatively, you could define a default variable in the text file and assign it immediately. Then you could use other variables to update it later in the movie as required.
