    greetings,

I am trying to control my flash movie using javascript from within my html page. I know dreamweaver has a built in function (MM_controlShockwave) to do this, but I am trying to work the syntax in to another function. and the MM_controlShockwave function requires the MM_findObj function in order to work properly. In this instance, using those 2 functions does not give me the amount of flexibility I need.

Does anyone know the method(s) or syntax used to control a flash object? and are there any version/browser issues to be aware of?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    -dave
