hello!
im 16, pretty much know everything about flash execpt the actionscript and other advanced stuff and recently when i was making my new homepage i was having trouble with trying to figure out how to smooth my background image. Since the image is a imported JPG it loses is quality when the width or height is changed. If anyone knows a way where i can keep the backgound the same size even if anyone resizes the movie please tell me! Its a pretty hi-res backgound and ive already tried to "Trace Bitmap" option but that only ruins the effect of the backgound. If anyone has any sort of Actionscript or an idea to a way around this it would be very helpful.
Also, how can i make the TextFX from this site (FlashHYPER.. u know!) load with my preloader?
To see my work (it is in its VERY early stages) and just what im talking about please goto:
http://www.XS-FX.8m.com
You might experience a black screen for about 20 secounds because thats just the external TextFX trying to load in..
Not bad for a 16year old eh??

It looks fine. That is just what you have to live with when you use jpegs or gifs in a movie that scales. And yes you site isn't bad, but take my advise. Don't get too cocky, there is always someone better, plus people tend to be turn off by it. Just do your best and let the work speak for itself. Trust me on this one.
