    make a CD-ROM .

i have a lot of videos to show, and as .mov have to
play with the support of QuickTime whith must install
    first, i choose .avi .

Jester.com produce Javi.exe to play .avi files . but
i am an Chinese ,and i don't have a credit card to
    register the software.

more worst, the JAVI_Commands.exe made form JAVI_ Commands.fla can not work!! is said:

Error occured, check parameters and avi file validity.

Faint, it is the last hope ? How can i get a regisetered
version of Javi.exe ? is it work with windows98 ? do it work well with flash5 ? what's the user and key of Jhelper.exe ? what "Patch Movie" mean , is there a bug of flash4 & 5 ?

    wait for your answer anxioursly!

Mov's and Avi's are of course a problem in Flash. You could have your flash movie launch a browser window. In the window embed the .mov or .avi in HTML. You might want to make your whole thing in browser. That is just an idea.

    Here do this

    Hello Jason,
Guess what? You can do that, but you need to first change it to a gif. Ok do this.

1.) Download Jasc Animation Shop 2.02 Trial
    ftp://ftp.jasc.com/pub/as202ev.exe

    2.)Install

    3.)Open Animation Shop

4.)File > Open > Click you avi movie

5.)Once finished opening your avi File > Save As > And save as a .gif

6.)Leave the program, Open Flash and open the gif in flash.

Tadah. There you go. Works like a dream.
    See ya Jason,
    Chris

    Smile Thanks !

i use VB to hold both Flash(.swf) and ActiveMoive (.avi),
and FScommand to send command to VB programme to control
avi moive. it is a good way to make a CD-ROM, isn't it ?
