I know Flash MX can load external jpegs at runtime. A few qestions.
1.- Is MX Server required for this or can the normal Flash MX do it? If MX Server is required when is it out and how much does it cost?
2.- Will this external loading work on a CD where i have a projector and then images located in a different folder on the CD. Or is special server required to be accessed remotely or be placed on the CD?
3.- Can it load external mpegs or realvideo?
Thanks a lot

You can load jpegs, mp3 and video like you loaded movieclips in flash 5, so no limitations in the player.
Coldfusion MX will do much more for you, from what I heard, you can also transfer pics/video/sound from one user to an other (also caled videoconferencing)

You can export the Library Items as a Runtime Shared Library.
I never heard about a Flash Server Version or something like that.

I'll answer your quetion. You don't have any server or something, but if you want to load jpg or mp3 into your movies, the movie has to be view with the Flash Player 6.
Hope I helped....

flash mx including some generator command, and it can load jpg/swf/mp3 dynamically, adding coldfusion mx,it's a powerful client/server structure.

So how is it handled? Say I'm dynamically loading a JPEG, do I do loadMovie and am I technically loading the JPEG into a movie clip or level? Or am I loading it into the library, and it's automatically used in every instance of that library symbol that's already been placed in my movie?
