Roger, thank you for taking the time to respond to my post. I know that most of items I listed have already been adressed, as I read most all of the posts prior to my own. It is this willingness to listen and respond (even when it's already been said 38 times) that is behind my support of Swish. Thanks for listening.

is it still worth submitting ideas?

as V3 obviously nears its completion.. is it still worth offering ideas for features or are you only tweaking those you've decided on already? ALSO ..seeing that this thread is 25 pages long could we have a summary of features to work from?

    TIA

Please keep suggestions coming .. even if they don't make it into the initial release, we aren't just going to sit back and do nothing .. we'll be in their making the next release even better.

Even if its something that has been suggested before .. if lots of poeple ask for it, then we know its something likely to be worthwhile doing.

Some feauters may still sneak in .. depends on what impact they would have on code (if they don't interfere with any current features, and are simple to do and we consider them worthwhile then we may add them in).

Oh! I forgot to add something.
(I haven't thought about this thread in a loooong time)

    - Ability to select mutliple text objects and manipulate their font/properties at the same time.

This suggestions is probably too late to make it in. haha but worth a try.

OK .. you're the straw that broke the camels back. There've been a few requests for this .. so I've just now added it in. Expect to see in the new version that you can multiply select text objectand go to the Text panel and do things like make them all bold etc.

NOTE: You can do this in SWiSH v2 already for shapes .. select multiple shapes and change line or fill styles all at once.

    Vector mapping.

Not animation vector mapping I realize that's not possible.

but it would be great if we could trace shapes of gifs
    convert to vector shapes.

We'll add some other vector export formats to the wishlist. Possible WMF/EMF (which most vector programs import). NOTE: GOing the other way is easy as most vector programs export to swf and SWISH can import SWF (as well as wmf/emf).

If this is posted already, im sorry, but didnt read teh 400 some posts before this one

Anyways, I have seen more posts about Text scrollers, preloaders, Hit counters and others that anything else on the help forum. Maybe add a little section, that it inputs those things automaticly, so us lazy people dont have to put in all the codes, just like on the button, and there it is? but then again we will never learn how to do it... Ill leave it up to you. Im sure the next version will be great, looking forward to it

Most of my main prioraties have been mentioned.

Heres one problem i have always had in Swish

The blurryness of fonts...Especially Pixel Fonts

I spend hours trying to get them right and nice and crisp but i have never been able to do it....Always had to use .Png files

Maybe make the fonts more crisp?

    Thanks

Pixel fonts have very specific requirements to work correctly - it's not a Swish thing, or something that can be controlled by the software.

Read The Crisp world of Pixel Fonts at Frets-Files.com, or Using Pixel/Bitmap Fonts at Swish-Tutorials.com (the site mentioned in your footer) for some great tips on getting the fonts crystal clear.
While changing my profile, I accidentally clicked the link that said
"Add 'Dead Rabbit' to your Ignore List"
so now I can't talk to myself anymore...

    NEw Version

I would love to see an export that creates a windowless/borderless SWF, like ICe PRojector/MProjector, I would pay more for Swish to do this, I hate add on's or using many other programs to create and end result SWF.

A few more shortcut features as mentione before would be great, more actionscripting or even importing actionscripts already created in flash (make more cross compatible)

I LOVE SWISH, I am not great a creating interactive stuff, but for my purposes in animation and getting stuff to move around the screen the way I like it IT'S WONDERFUL. take a look at what I am working on.

MAybe a utility to be able to see the first frame in thumbnails mode so you can remember which swi you're working on

Next version has an optional preview panel when you open so you can what you're going to get before you open it.
