Javascript Rollover

I am trying to insert a javascript rollover on my webpage. My table was constructed using Adobe ImageReady. I have an icon with 4 links that I made using ImageReady slices. Now I am trying to add a rollover to each link and am having major problems. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I am new to all of this so I'm sure it's probably a dumb mistake I'm making.

maybe it might be better if you didnt use javascript on your rollover images. This is very tricky and will only lead to confusion, and will create problems with the rendering of the page (and effect) on older version browsers. HTML should suffice enough, using onmouseover statements
