Is there a resource site like FK for HTML? It sure would be nice because making things work on both IE and Netscape is a pain the in the *#($)%()# arse.

I didn't know where else to go for help, so of course I came here.

    Thanks for your time.

    Hi

Well NN6.2 should work now... forget about NN4.x

You should program for the HTML standard and not for a specific browser. if a browser can't display valid HTML it's the browsers fault - not yours. Some pages i often go to:

http://www.w3.org - where the standards come from
    validator.w3.org - check your page
http://www.evolt.org - an impressive archive of articles and tips for Web development, they have also got a helpful mailing list
http://www.w3schools.com - learn the HTML standard (and related stuff)

    Yours

That's what I figured. It is hard though because then when people see your work on "their" crappy browser, they don't think "Oh it's the crappy browser", they think "Who designed this PoS?" haha well that's web development for ya.

Part of the problem was that I had only been looking at the site on the Mac, when I posted the darn thing it worked just fine through PC browsers. Good enough for me. I am just bummed that I spent almost 4 hours trying to tweak this thing and that ultimately the first way I did it worked out fine. DOH! <O.o>

Thanks for the links, I am sure that they will come in handy next time, which I hope is far, far away. Flash for me all the way.
