Thread: Warning! FLA opened in MX, the saved as FLA fails in F5.

    This is bogus. I open one of my FLA files in MX and worked on it a little bit, then saved it as a Flash 5 FLA file. The file can now only be opened in MX and fails to open in F5.

    I guess I'm just venting out my anger...

    strange experience
    working with the trial MX
    on MACos 9.2.2
    opening a version 5 fla, saving it as an version 5 fla
    and it's named like;

    myflaname.%_!ç.fla

    strange behaviour

    thats weird. a file that i had saved as flash 5 from mx opens up in flash 5. but as soon as i hit the publish button it crashes F5. not just on my machine as well, but on others as well.
