countdown possible in flash?

Hi! How can I make a countdown-movie in flash?
I'd lake to have a countdown thing on my site which counts down the time from now to 24th September this year...
Is this possible? If not in flash, how????

Lookup the Date object in the Actionscript Dictionary that came with flash - there's a whole bunch of functions that will help you with a countdown.

I did this last year, i don't know where my FLA is though. I will look when I get home. You need to do some date conversions and then a little bit of maths to work it out.

have a look at this tute, i think it only does a countdown to a certain time but you should be able to modify it to do a date.

You should check the tutes section for anything like this it's quicker than waiting for replys on the boards.
