'Failed to Open Document' error when transferring from Mac to PC

I was working on my Mac over the weekend and saved a load of FLAs (16 of them), compressed with Mac Zip-It. This morning I'm on my PC at work, have uncompressed the files using WinZip, and am now getting a 'Failed to Open Document' message on all files.

I had the zip backed up on two floppies, and neither copy works, so it's not a disk error.

I'm using Flash 5, but have also got the 30 Day MX trial running on the PC.

Any clues about what's wrong with the files, and how I can fix them?

Are you getting the error when attempting to open in flash or when unzipping. If it's when opening in flash, try deleting the extension (.fla or .swf) and re-inserting it. That works sometimes when doing the process reversed. Also try opening the file within flash (no just double clicking it) via the file>open option!
