prebuilding a worldmap

hi there
i try to prebuild a worldmap(-> an own swf). the project is for people who should be able to put their name and world-coordinates inside an own info-interface(need not to be in flash) seperated from worldmap-swf. then the information should be displayed and positioned by world-x/y coord. in the worldmap-swf (for ex. by a small dot/movieclip). and further more, the information should popup a window on click.
my partner is going to build a php-data base for the info-interface... now my question is:
how should i work with php -variables in flash, how to define a text-fielt with a variable where php has acces to?
is there any help for flash with php out there?
my knowledge in actionscript is not that professional as well...
any suggestion on how to realize such a knot???

it really looks like you should look around for loading Variables and detecting the relevant _x and _ys...that takes a while...to make it shorter...take a look here
