Thanks for the heads up. I like the title of the report Yahoo! Break! Privacy!
The internet does seem to be dying, but it will not die completly, too many use it.
Again, thanks for the info. I have deleted all my accounts, don't use them anymore, its all snooboo!
btw, who signed in as flashkit/arse monkey on the snooboo.com forum? I just wana know.

I use Yahoo every once in a while and already it is still always bombarded with porno messages and such. I don't use it much any more because of that and the fact that Yahoo sucks.

Thank you CrashStar, I changed my settings right away. For the longest time, I would rarely get spammed on my Yahoo address--maybe once a week on average. Now it's more often.
If you have a Yahoo account, go here to change your settings:
http://subscribe.yahoo.com/showaccount
There are 12 different "Special Offer" categories you can remove yourself from, and don't miss the "Contact by phone" options below as well.

only if the story was actually posted by yahoo themselves
but i doubt it too, it's just that there are so many april 1st stories still popping up

The only Yahoo service I use is... well Trillian to contact friends using YIM. I finally deleted my Geocities account. Isn't Yahoo going to start charging for search results?

I never had any problems in about 3 years of use with yahoo but I guess offering a free service will eventually catch up with them in costs.
Hotmail I've always been spammed on, I send some junk mail there but not much really.
http://www.another.com offer a decent free service and you can have a selection of domains to go after your email name too not sure about POP3 access, I think they do it free.
