Thread: .swf in email ??????

    I have made a greeting card in flash as .swf, now I wanna send this to my friend in email not as an attached file . he should be able to see the card when he open the mail.is it possible????? .help please!!! thanks in advance

    I belive, that if you throw the .swf on a server somewhere that will let external sources link to it (some hosts have this disabled) and simply make an HTML email with the regular embedding code that you would normally use, it should work. I haven't actually tried this before but I'm guessing that if they have the flash plugin it would pick it up. And yet...maybee not, because it won't actually be in a browser :S. Give it a shot and see what happens i guess. Good luck with it though.

    Yes, what kornp said will work, as long as the recipient is able to view HTML emails and has the flash player.
