[RESOLVED] loading external mp3

Hello flashers
Is there a way that i can make my movie stream an mp3 sound while the mp3 sound is stored on the server not in the flash movie, i want the user to be able to enter the name of the mp3 file, then flash starts streaming it. is this possible?

Only in Flash MX. If you get Flash MX read up on the loadSound method.

is it possible in flash mx that i make the audio stream? not event , because the size of the mp3 files are huge ... very huge!

Yes, streaming is an option. But I'm not sure if you need a special MP3 streaming port set up on your server. The example given in the help file references a specific port from memory.
