well, I'm off to start my footer now, it's now the 15th where i live, making it the 14th in the states? Thus i have one day to make a footer, nwahuahuahuaha...

Probably use the old sexy chick ploy thing again, who knows :P

I wonder if anyone can fit a whole storyline in their footer? Like a mini movie within 15k?? I hope someone does it, cause I'd like to see that!

Well, between footers being turned off, and me not receiving the prizes in the mail yet, there will probably be a little bit of flex time. But I will more than likely weight the rankings in favor of people who did get their footers in on time, so if you're gonna be a day or two late, it had better be amazing.

I was thinking the 15th U.S. EST. (my "the 15th").

At very least, I'll extend it to Midnight EST of the 15th. So you have until Wednesday night in the U.S. to get me a footer.

i know we have to keep to the guide lines on size 300x40, but does it have to be that big can it be smaller??

Yeah, it can be smaller if you'd like. 300x40 15k are max params.

Boy, you guys really like to cut it close to the wire. I've gotten a bunch of entries in the past few days.

Due to work demands, I'll probably be posting all of the footers for people to vote on this weekend. I haven't settled finally, but I think I'll have a public member vote (right here on the board, though that's arguable since I don't want anyone "outing" anyone else. Though you might recognize some styles anyway, so I might just go with that), and an admin vote if I can organize it, then I'll average the two scores and come up with a winner.

Yeah, I'll be making an external HTML page with all of the footers (probably in pop-ups, so they can be seen alone and not slow any others down), then all voting and discussion can take place here (I'll post a new thread with the link).
