Thread: how do you make 3d text with...

    how can you make 3d text with a green edge and make the text transparent. I have noticed this effect on many sites. PLEASE someone help me!

    Go to 'preview and export' panel - click on 'fill options' and then deselect your fill option box.
    Now click on 'edge options' and select the 'include edges' box. Now select how thick you want the edge and what color from below that button. You're done!

    well..

    I have noticed many site now with really cool animations!!

    Like they have a basketball player like fully dunking the basketball. And like the crowd cheering and others with much more simple stuff like a man walking, or and horse being riden! Could you please tell me how to do this! PLEASE!!! THANKS SO MUCH! Hey I am making a 3d thing at hem moment, I will upload to my site and maybeyou can check it out!!

    hey also, how can I modify the background of a swift 3d animatin. Not like the color but like you have done the lighting and all. Can I import a backgruond???

    My guess is ( without seeing any of this ) the animations of people, horses etc, were done using Poser and exported. Thats how I do people etc.

    As for the background Q - Make your bg in Flash, not swift. With the above example, I made the logo via the extrusion editor and exported as described. Then, in Flash, I placed the bg image ( which is a vector image - NOT a bitmap) in layer 1 and then imported the wireframe logo I exported from swift into layer 2 and looped the file.
