i first came to flashkit to get your opinions on a website i created for a clothing company. it was in plain html and can be seen here www.zuccausa.com

many of you said it was okay but boring,
so i got into flash, read a few books, learned some stuff from this site and came up with an update:

    www.zuccausa.com/flash/index.htm

    what do you think?
when you click on the middle button, xml should load, tell me if it works

    thanks guys,

p.s. i lost my password to my old user name, so i'm back to 0 posts

    smooooth

    hmmm,, nice...
listen ., .,u have to be careful abt the font and the color combination ., ,it should not be merging into the background .,,. i mean after all the text tell the the user abt u ( doesnt it) it should stand out .,
also the black and white img onthe top is not going with the bottom pink theme/./. try using som colored img .,.,blured out from one side iguess., ..
functionality is good .,., simple and nice.,., smooth i may say .,.,
PS. avoid using fonts with small tails on the end .,. SANSERIFA .,., try verdana., or the ones with straight ends.,., look nice and are more readable to the useer.,., cuz u never know wht resolution they have.,.,

    have fun..,
    chao.,

wow your site is so cooool

its strange how you only notice things once someone makes a comment about it.

what was i thinking with that black picture? lol, you are right it doesn't go with the theme. i also agree about the font's, i'll change those

i didn't really understand what you said about "blured out from one side" what do you mean by that?

    thanks for the awesome review

Have you had a look at the site in 800 x 600, it's just the neat compact design is wasted on a user with this res because they have to keep scrolling? (People must get sick of me saying this )

I agree that verdana or similar is the way to go. And where you have your locations; instead of putting them in jumbled line tem up straight, I think you’ll like the difference it makes

The black header didn’t scream bad at me, I liked it, but I can see where mylatif is going. I also quite like your html version, it just needs some super graphics

    Cheers

much better but CHANGE THE FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONT!
Choose sth that i can see and at a smaller size the one u have is too big. The locations sections is the worse...
the transition of pages to and from the locations page are laggy...
Not much for me to do yet but getting better; keep it up

    Hello,
I think your site has potential.

It runs smooth and is easy to navigate, but:

When I think of fashion and clothing sites I think of glitz.
    Wheres the glitz?
I think the site would be much more appealing if you took the high fashion approach and got rid of the pastel colors and went with with bolder and darker.
Also replacing the top image with a nice high quality image/image collage of some type.

Dont care for the font that you are using and prefer an easier to read non stylized font. (font color is also to light against the background colors site wide.)

    Hope it helps..

    thanks
i will probably make the first page of the site a selection screen where you can choose between flash and html

    I like it.
I think you should bullet the places on your location page and rearrange them in a more orderly fashion. Also the font looked pixelated for the all the places. Would look better anti aliased like your other pages. But when right clicking and zooming in they appeared smooth..hmm?

yes I am talking about that site, when you right click and select all it does not select the light blue and greyish bit, just the font on top of it. how do you do that?
