Detection kit only for flash 5 - not MX

Hi,
In order to avoid people from having problems with not having the new Flash Player MX plug-in installed, I have downloaded the Flash detection kit from Macromedia, but it´s only optimized for flash 5, not MX. Does anyone have a solution to this problem, because as it is now, it won´t detect my flash mx files and therefore the user can´t come to the right pages.

Please help anyone!!
