    I seen some pretty awesome 3D flash sites out there.....what program is used to create 3D stuff for Flash and is it easy to import and use the objects within Flash MX?

    A lot of 3d is done in Swift 3d. Swift is an app designed for flash that allows you to render images, scenes and animation in vector format, so keeping the file size small. You can find out more here:

    you can only do static animations, not a real 3d engine, but then Flash can't really cope with generating 3d graphics on the fly. You can do simply realtime 3d though. If this is what you are interested in then you'd do well to start with something like this:
