    Hi everyone

Im trying to make my movies detect the Flash MX plugin.

I have downloaded the Flash Developer kit to help me, and in there is a sniffer file that will detect the version the user has. However, there is one problem, how do i test if it is working if every computer i have has the flash player installed??!?!

Is there any way to uninstall flash player from your computer, just to test if the sniffer wokrs?

    Thanks.

i don't think you should make your movies detect the flash player, because if the flash player is not installed your movie will not run.

you really need to put some script (js, php or whatever) that will detect if the player is installed at the start of your html.

First of all, i know that the script should not be in your movie, as u said, the movie would not run.

Second of all, look at the dev kit and u will see what it does.

Third of all here is the link

Fourth 'of all' I got it working!

Anyways, im still curios if it possible to get rid of the flash player from your computer
