I just got 6 potatoes, a carrot and an onion for building a website - now the guy's saying he paid too much and I owe him 2 potatoes. I'm in a real stew about it. He keeps saying that I should give him the flas, but I've never been into that myself. You see, I'm 48 and still work out of my Mum and Dad's house, 'cause although I've had lots of work, everyone thinks I'm a complete ninny and all I get are bad cheques. I mean, I'd do it for free, so I wouldn't even have to write another worthless contract, but I've still got to get around my site hosting problems - the best bid I've had was £20,000/year.

    "mac vs. pc"

    Yeah.... that one is funny.

    http://board.flashkit.com/board/show...hreadid=313993

Didn't mean to be such an idiot when I started that thread. I guess I am fairly new around here and was really wondering what the attraction to mac is. Simple as that. I appologize for annoying you with my overdone question. Please just keep in mind that I may be new to your world in flashkit if you were to come into mine I could ridicule some of your idiotic questions as easily, but that just seems pointless and unproductive. A little childlike even.

    Scincerely,
    Mat

We arn't complaining or aiming anything at you, it's just this is a thread of popular questions And of course, the propper, mature and sensible answers.

Oh, and you got the Mac vs. PC one wrong, it's

Which browser and at what screen size can I look at porn on best?

(The pc's and mac's are for saving the file and emailing it ot all the emails you've ever seen).

h1 wrote way back when -
now the guy's saying he paid too much and I owe him 2 potatoes

    option 1
Give him back one potato, let the other one sprout the plant it in some really good soil. Mulch well, When it is fully grown, harvest, give the client there potato and keep the 10 you've grown yourself.

    option 2
slice up the spuds and send em back 1 little bit at a time. In little boxes. With rude notes.

    And:
What are you doing crashing kebabs?

    cheers

    James

re: option 1 - v. industrious but it sounds a bit 'Good Life' to me. (Anyone remember that show, Felicity 'Yum Yum' Kendall and that other fella, growing all-natural produce in West London? Oh yeah, now that was quality viewing)

and option 2 - Just repeat after me - Reservoir Spuds.

You know, I was just looking at the Flash 5 General Help section, and I can see what RazorMedia is going on about. If verily 90% of the participants would simply use the search feature, that room'd be featuring a lot fewer threads. (still no bleedin' swf transparency for Netscape??)

Call me chicken, but I'll stick to the Boardroom for now.

I remember in the series Red Dwarf (movie coming soon), they found an asteroid shaped like Felicity Kendall's bottom. As Holly said "We flew around that one for a while".

    cheers

    Quality stuff! I remember that!

You can always trust Red Dwarf to put things into perspective.
