Has anyone here ever tried using the Advanced Visualization Studio Plugin for Winamp? It lets you do a lot of cool designs with math (specifically trig) and these designs change with the beat and volume of the track that is playing in winamp. I have found a lot of parallels with this stuff and the stuff like in Flash Math Creativity. I bet some of those Wiz's could do some cool stuff with AVS.

first you go to configure mode by double clicking anywhere on the display.

Then you add effects and transitions. You click on the plus sign and go to render and choose something like superscope.

In superscope there are 4 places you can put code. Init, On fram, On Beat(here is where you get stuff to sync with the music) and On Point.

There are other places to set up code like in movements and dynamic movements.

One thing I like about it is being able to use polar coordinates without converting manually.
