Hi - Hope someone can help me, new to Flash MX...
I created an swf with Wildform SWFX. Made note that it used a Flash 4 effect so that I'd have to use loadMovie in Flash MX to make use of it.
I imported the movie into the library of a new movie, dragged an instance on the stage in Scene 1.
Did this with these two lines of ActionScript:
TextMovie.loadMovie("Reflections.swf");
TextMovie.Play();
Reflections is in the same folder as the movie in which I am using it.
Problem: Don't see the movie when I run Test Movie. It plays by itself just fine. Read Patrick Jensen's note about creating an empty clip to hold the imported moveclip symbol, but it still does not display.
Any idea what I may be doing wrong here?

Hi,
Are you receiving any error messages in the "Output" console window during preview? What's the name of the effect you're using, or is it a custom effect? As we all know, Flash can be tempermental, so, hopefully we can get this to work quickly. Any further information would be helpful.
Best wishes,
-Arjun
