    Hey chook,
    When I first enter the main page everything in squares look like buttons so I was a lil confused with the nav at first....maybe im just thick. The site looks good to me other than that. Good luck to you,
    Mel

    I was also initially confused about how to navigate. Lots of rolling the mouse around to figure out exactly what was what... And then I had to sit back and decide where to go first (hard decision!). I also get particularly annoyed at having to roll over a button to find out where it goes - I think most people find this tedious.

    From a design point of view, you should really give more space between your lines of text (eg. Interior Design section)... the 'y's and 'g's should never touch the 't's and 'k's of the next line.

    Apart from that looks good. Like the relaxing music.

    Oh, you also have heaps of typos.

    Hope you find this all constructive.

    Good luck!

    It was reasonably decent, but the site is too cluttered in my adamant view. In addiion, the links could load more faster, which means thorough and efficicent optimization should be on your to-do list...

    That's exactly what i was looking for.

    there's also a 6sec intro that quickly shows the content of each button, I guess i should have posted that as well.

    Thanks

    The music chosen was excellent and suited the site well. In general i felt a bit cramped, as all the boxes and labels were squeezed into that small space. I also had trouble focusing on a singple element, and my eyes tended to wander. For the menu, I agree with the other posters, hard to see. I suggest also you do something to accentuate which button the user has rolled over, more than just the white flash. For instance, possibly fading the others. Overall, sound was excellent, content was great. Just work on the navigation and you will have a winning product.

    I agree with the others that you should work on making the navigation more user friendly. Overall it looks pretty good to me.

    looks good,

    1 change the blue on the first page
    2 what was the point of different flash movies ? why didnt you just make one? I would load the music in a seperate flash movie that stays when switching from section to section blends a lot smoother
    3 who wants to wait to see what section they are going to?
    make the text static but animate on over or on hit
    4 mailing list about and contact fonts need to be bigger

    Which shade of blue do you think would be more suitable? Going darker or lighter?

    Thanks

    Thanks everyone for your comments, they have all been constructive.

    Hey Phattemer what would the RGB for slate blue be?
    Is it an earthy tone like vivalasvegas suggested?

    Red=188
    Blue=194
    Green=222

    Put that into the custom color picker in flash then mess around in that "general vicinity"
