pretty obvious that Blatter's attack on the referees is politics... it's gonna be interesting to watch if Korea plays in the final with an Italian referee
-
At least it appears Collina (middle) will be the ref so the final should be good whoever gets there (Korea )

The refrees work is final or he'll beat you to death!

doesn't use scenes either
Yeah that's true. Suddenly, (now that most watchers realise there's something going on)
The whole FIFA is blaming their own referees
Their content on fifawordcup.com has totally changed: After Italy v Korea Italy was titled as "bad looser", now that even Spain has been thrown out, and everybody is upset, they swap to their 'not our fault' statements.
Korea defeated Italy (should be ok, after all they are playing really fantastic)
But they didn't beat Spain.

I'm really excited what will happen in Korea v Germany

There's something going on this worldcup?
If you are talking about someone "Rig" the game - what a ridiculous suggestion that the officials were bribed - as if they would do such a thing in front of their own highly respected and distinguished head of state.
Players and coaches together win and loss matches. That's why every conspiracy in the history of sports has always involved "fixing games" by players ... NOT referees.
Learn your history and get the facts.
This year our president himself - who's two sons both just happen to be in prison for - umm - bribery, as a matter of fact.
Oh, and another former president, the one who presided when the olympics were held there was sent to prison for 22 years for - umm - taking bribes amongs other things.
We are putting anyone to jail if they are get involed with - "bribery".
Bribe the match officials? - impossible - whatever next will people be suggesting?
Every player in every country ALWAYS says, "I'd like to congratulate XXXX for winning today and they deserve credit, but without taking anything away from them, I thought the referee made some bad decisions ..." etc. etc.
When you win, show some character. When you lose, show some class and lose graciously.
I'm really excited what will happen in Korea v Germany
>>Yes, I'm really excited too because I want to see how German will react if they lost game against Korea.
>>Another "referee made some bad decisions " or we lost because we played not good enough?
Cheers

If we lose I know what our players going to say:
We lost game because German players are better than us.
-Not I thought the referee made some bad decisions.
Go Korea~
We are going to Yokohama!!

Alright Romeo.
I'm not talking about a conspiracy here.
All I'm trying to say is that the referees permanently do Korea a favor. I might be wrong and they're just bad referees.
Don't get me wrong i like Korea as team, they show much better football than germany and many many others and play excellent matches.
But if there would have been better referees I'm not sure if they could have stood a chance against spain.
And respect for the winners: I think you'll have to understand the players too. 2 goals shot in the match and none of them counts, i'm sure thats frustrating. (although the reactions of the italians were ridiculous espacially in the case of Ahn)

And why is it that when teams win (such as during the Italian league) they talk about refereeing mistakes as just "part of the game", but when they lose to supposedly "lesser teams, well, that dummy gets spit far and wide?!
So they get a couple of goals disallowed this World Cup. In 4 years time, or 8 years time, they get a couple of off-side goals allowed - it all evens up. Was every goal during their qualifying campaign strictly legal? I doubt it.
That's football. That's life. Show some dignity.

I think you'll find that every sports label was probably featured on one team or another:
Nike
Adidas
Puma
Le Coq Sportif
and others

It really makes me sick.
I don't understad why there is no extra referee sitting behind TV monitor and helping the main ref to solve the polemic moments in the game like it is in Ice Hockey, I really don't understand why this is not done.
Is just football years behind the hockey and fair play?!
hey! hey! u can get pissed off with the referees all you want but don't flame Korea because of that... they've been a great host and a great team... maybe in ice hockey you can flame the other team for winning but in football that's considered bad sportsmanship...
besides... if Spain really is "much better" like u said, then how come they can't even win the penalty shootout against Korea?
wat are ya? american? canadian? u can't compare the greatest sport ever with ice hockey... pfft...

I've got nothing againts Korea,
and I'm not American or Canadien...
I'm from Slovakia and you?
If you would pay attention how the referee ingored 2 clear goals of Spain your reply might have been a bit different and when it comes to penalty shootout, that's just a big lottery as everyone else knows.
I love football but many!!!! human errors are making me doubt about fair play where the solution or help could be easily applied.
And besides, read a bit on the internet what the rest of the world and newspapers think about that game...........

I entirely agree with Oksey on this. And nobody is flaming any team here, we're just discussing and I think it's happening in a fair way.
